Winter 2025 Product Update: AI-Generated Widgets, Enhanced Chat & Comments, Daily Streaks & More

We’re kicking off 2025 with an exciting slate of product updates designed to enhance engagement, streamline moderation, and introduce powerful new AI capabilities. From AI-generated widgets to improved chat and comment functionalities, we’ve been working hard to make our platform more intuitive, flexible, and interactive. Let’s dive into the latest features and improvements that will help you create even better experiences for your users!

Introducing AI-Generated Content Widgets

Say hello to AI-generated quiz widgets! Our new MVP allows producers to generate 10 quiz questions at a time simply by providing a topic in the prompt. This automation saves valuable time and makes content creation more efficient than ever.

To further enhance workflow, we’ve also added a widget search module within our CMS. You can now easily locate specific widgets by widget ID or prompt across the Queue, Scheduled, and History tabs. This is especially helpful for managing a large volume of widgets quickly and efficiently.

Chat Major Enhancements

Support Threads for More Organized Discussions
LiveLike Chat now supports threads, making it easier to structure conversations. Users can start new threads, reply to existing ones, and retrieve past messages for better engagement and clarity.

Enhanced CMS Chat for Producers
We’ve refined the chat experience within our CMS by introducing advanced moderation tools. Producers can now mute, globally mute, and globally shadow mute participants from the live chat window or moderation tab. The new compact view option also allows producers to see more messages on one screen, optimizing real-time moderation.

Expanded Banned Word Management
To give producers greater control over community standards, we’ve introduced customizable banned word lists. You can now expand the default list or replace it entirely with a custom version, ensuring moderation aligns with your unique brand values.

New Chat Restrictions for a Safer Environment

  • Restricted Image Messages: Moderators can now disable image messaging to maintain control over shared content.

  • Controlled Nickname Changes: New integrations restrict users from changing nicknames by default, preventing potential misuse and fostering a secure chat environment.

Greater Customization & Gamification Enhancements

More Reactions, More Fun: We’ve expanded our reaction packs to support up to 10 unique reactions per pack, offering richer ways for users to interact. Need more? Our team can configure even higher limits upon request.

Seamless Leaderboard & Quest Integration

  • Attach Leaderboards to Quests: Our Quests API now allows leaderboards to be directly linked to Quests, simplifying leaderboard management.

  • Auto-updating Leaderboards: Scores will now update automatically based on user points balance when reward transactions are added, making leaderboards more dynamic and fair.

Real-Time Event Integration with GCP Pub/Sub
Integrators using Google Cloud Platform can now receive real-time updates on LiveLike events such as badge awards and quest completions via GCP Pub/Sub, ensuring seamless synchronization.

Daily Streak Tracking
Encourage long-term engagement with our new Daily Streak Tracking feature! Now, you can track user streaks and celebrate milestones, driving consistency and participation.

Comments Board Enhancements

Simplified Global Moderation
Managing comments across multiple boards just got easier! With our centralized moderation view, producers can now handle reported comments and banned users all from one place.

Pinned Comments for Highlighting Important Messages
Our Comments API now supports pinned comments, making showcasing crucial messages easily without disrupting conversations.

New Sorting & Customization Options

  • Sort by Total Reactions: Organize comments based on overall reaction count to highlight popular discussions.

  • Sort by Reply Count: Easily surface the most (or least) active conversations to enhance engagement.

  • Custom Attributes for Comments: Like widgets, quests, and badges, comments can now have unique metadata for deeper customization.

Mentions & Peer-to-Peer Blocking

  • Mentions: Users can tag up to 15 individuals in comments to drive engagement.

  • Peer-to-Peer Blocking: Users now have more control over their interactions by blocking others from commenting on their boards.

We’re always working to make our platform more dynamic, intuitive, and user-friendly. With these latest updates, we hope to empower creators, enhance moderation capabilities, and provide more engaging experiences. Stay tuned for more updates, and as always, we’d love to hear your feedback!

We hope you enjoy these new updates, and please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. If you are not yet using LiveLike but are interested in integrating our solution, you can also reach out and book a demo with our sales team.
